Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park
You will be picked up from the hotel or airport and begin your journey traveling northwards to the Volcanoes National Park. You will wake up pretty early, around 6:30 a.m., for breakfast and get your packed lunch to transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing before your gorilla tracking experience. Each gorilla group is tracked by not more than eight travelers in a single day. Day 3: Cultural Experience tour with a return to Kigali for a city tour
Wake up early to have a delicious breakfast, and after check-out of your safari lodge, it will be quite an early morning because you will be transferring from Volcanoes National Park and heading to the Iby’iwacu cultural village for a great dance and cultural performance by the Rwandese people. You will get to visit the local markets and purchase some authentic Rwandan souvenirs, such as crafts.
