Detailed itinerary for 3-days gorilla trekking in Ruhija sector

Day 1: Travel from Kampala to Ruhija in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, you will begin your journey to Ruhija with a stop at Igongo for lunch and continue to the Bwindi Ruhija sector for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: H/B

Day 2: Gorilla trekking Ruhija and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver to head to the park offices for a briefing that will give you an idea of what is expected of you during this activity as well as what you can expect. Return to the lodge for some refreshments and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda’s deepest lake. You will check into your booked safari lodge upon arrival and later set out for an exciting canoeing activity that gives you a great platform for bird watching and getting a full view of all the islands on the lake. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Meal plan: F/B

Day 3: Transfer to Kampala with a stop at the Uganda Equator

After breakfast, you will check out of your safari lodge and begin your journey back to Kampala with a stop at the Equator for lunch, pictures, and some time to shop for souvenirs in the many craft markets. Continue to Kampala or Entebbe for your drop-off location. Meal plan: H/B
