Day 1: Travel from Kampala to Murchison Falls with Rhino tracking stopover.

After your early morning breakfast, the driver will pick you up to begin your journey at about 6:00 a.m. You will use the Kampala-Masindi route, branching off in Nakasongola to the Ziwa rhino sanctuary, where you will track the most endangered animal species, the white rhinos. After lunch, embark on your journey to Murchison Falls, using the southern gate. Check into your booked safari lodge upon your arrival and get some refreshments as you wait for your evening game drive. Meal plan: lunch and dinner.

Day 2: Morning game drive and launch cruise and visit top of falls

Wake up to a delicious breakfast and set out for an early morning game drive—a good chance to see different animal species as they get up to start the day. Return to your lodge and freshen up if you like as you wait for lunch. Later, you will go for a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to view the bottom of the falls, with many great settings like hippos, Nile crocodiles, and aquatic birds.

At the bottom of the falls, you will get off the boat, take pictures, and begin the hike to the top of the falls. It’s not an easy one, but the reward is evident with the panoramic view of the falls from atop. When you get to the top of the falls, the driver or guide will be waiting for you and will give you some time to catch your breath before transferring you back to your safari lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 3: Travel back to Kampala with stopover at Karuma Falls

After breakfast, make sure you have all your stuff together and check out of the safari lodge, ready to start your journey back to Kampala, exiting the park using the northern gate. Get a few minutes viewing of Karuma falls on the way and continue with your journey back to Kampala with a lunch stop at Kabalega dinners and then continue to Kampala to be dropped off at any of your desired locations.
