Day 1: Drive to Lake Nkuruba Nature Reserve with Hike

After breakfast, you will be picked up by the driver or guide to begin your journey to Kibale Forest National Park, home of the chimpanzees. You will arrive just in time for lunch and later set out for a hike at Lake Nkuruba, have some great viewings of the crater lakes, and take lots of pictures of the beautiful scenery with just a perfect touch of the sun in the background. Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp cultural walk in Kibale Forest

Wake up to a delicious breakfast, and with your two or more bottles of water, head to the park headquarters for a briefing about the activity and what to expect. Step into the thick canopies of Kibale Forest for the adventure that awaits you. Return to the lodge for lunch and later head to the Bigodi swamp for a guided nature walk; explore the different plant species as well as birds here. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 3: Visit Lake Nkuruba Nature Reserve, campsite and back to Kampala

You will have a fairly late start to your day, giving you a few more hours of rest from exhaustion. After your breakfast, you will check out of the safari lodge and exit the park to begin the journey back to Kampala with a lunch stop in Fort Portal. Embark on your journey after lunch and be dropped off at any location of your interest. Meal plan: half board.
