Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary tour for 1 day, the island is located in Mukono district, 23 km southwest of Entebbe mainland. It’s home to 49-orphaned chimpanzees with two options of access; by boat, which takes only 45 minutes from Entebbe to the island by speedboat, 15 minutes by air transport and 90 minutes by motorized canoes.

You will be picked up by Simba Africa Expeditions driver/guide so that you can set off from your hotel/place of residence in the morning after your breakfast and then proceed to the waterfront beach; where you will embark on a boat, which will take approximately 45 minutes to Ngamba Island. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and briefed by official guides of Ngamba Island chimpanzee sanctuary, later on, have breakfast and participate in the chimpanzee morning feeding at 11:00 am.
Besides that, you will visit the chimpanzee sanctuary veterinary doctor, who will explain to you about the health of chimpanzees, have lunch and later go for bird watching and view other wild species like lizards, and spiders, butterflies and fruit bats. After that, return to the boat cruises and return back to Entebbe with an Equator stopover and swimming if time permits.
