1 day Ziwa Rhino tracking Uganda, the sanctuary is located in Nakasongola district towards Murchison Falls National Park; it’s home to white Rhinos in Uganda and was established in 2005, under the management of Rhino Fund Uganda and Uganda Wildlife Authority.
After you morning breakfast, Simba Africa Expeditions’ driver or guide will pick you up from your hotel/place of residence at 7:30 am and brief you about the excursion, drive through Nakasongola heading to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where Rhino tracking is done. Upon arrival, you will be briefed by the Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger about the tracking and Rhino behaviors.
You will be permitted to spend one hour with the Rhinos, later on after Rhino tracking proceeds to the hotel for your lunch and then head for a nature walk with an opportunity of seeing various bird species like the African black-headed Oriole, African blue Flycatcher, and many others.
